For the Fourth of July, gander down to mainstreet for an annual parade through the town, followed by a festival of homemade shopping and snowcones! At dusk, the American Legion shoots off spectacular fireworks. Grab your folks, lawn chairs, a blanket and some brews and celebrate beneath the mountains
Activities
Spend the day at Cottonwood lake. A quiet and beautiful lake to fish, kayak, and paddleboard. But don’t forget a life jacket!
Dinner
Drive over to The Buena Viking for dinner. I highly recommend the Mai Tai mocktail and The Raven chicken BLT sandwich. Can’t go wrong with a side of loaded tots. Be prepared for a bit of a wait as it’s a popular restaurant in this small town.
